About

Redeemer Church is first and foremost a community of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who in Him have experienced redemption and reconciliation. We exist in this world as God's covenant people to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever. Our philosophy for glorifying and enjoying God is tri-fold, based on the biblical mandate that we EmbraceEquip, and Engage.

"Embracing the Gospel"

Our desire is to be Gospel-centered and Gospel-driven in every area of ministry. As undeserving recipients of God's immeasurable mercy and grace, we recognize that the Gospel of Christ not only provides for our salvation, but also frees us to live not for ourselves but for Him who saved us. The Gospel empowers us to extend grace and forgiveness to each other, just as God through Christ has done for us. All that we are, have, and do is viewed through the prism of the good news of the Gospel.

"Equipping the Church"

Our intentional focus is on encouraging believers to employ their Spirit-endowed gifts for the advancement of God's kingdom and the strengthening of the body of Christ. Whatever one's gifting, each member of the body is vital to its healthy function. Equipping takes place through expository preaching & teaching of God's inerrant Word, Christian education for all ages, Bible studies for men and women, Community Groups, & one-on-one discipleship and mentoring.

"Engaging the Culture"

Our aim is to be missional and outwardly focused. Our church seeks to be "salt and light" by meeting both physical and spiritual needs in our immediate community as well as globally, through our giving, going, and sending those called by God to serve Christ near and far. Mercy ministry and missions are priorities as we endeavor to respond to Christ's Great Commission, demonstrating the relevance of the Gospel to the deep needs of a hurting world.

Embracing, equipping, and engaging are realized here at Redeemer as we practice the five pillars of the Kingdom of God:

WORSHIP... “Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness." Psalm 29:2
FELLOWSHIP... “They devoted themselves to the fellowship.” Acts 2:42
EVANGELISM... “From now on you will be fishers of men.” Luke 5:10
DISCIPLESHIP... “Go and make disciples.” Matthew 28:19
PRAYER... “My house will be called a house of prayer.” Matthew 21:13
