Mercy Ministry

If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. - John 12:26

The Diaconate asks that on each Lord’s Supper Sunday, the members would make a special, voluntary donation to aid the afflicted and distressed of our church community. Your gift will be set aside for this purpose. The Diaconate will use these funds to show mercy to our members first, the body of Christ second, and the world at large last.

Please contact the diaconate or any member of the church if you or someone you know would benefit from this mercy ministry. A special offering will take place after communion at the Lord’s Table for this purpose.  Please prayerfully consider giving in order that we all may serve.

By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and truth. - 1 John 3:16-18

Please let us know of ANY need you know someone has that we might help them in their time of need.
